Bloggle Noggle

Trying the old blog thing again. Did it by hand years ago, then got tired of the html editing and wasn't smart enough to figure out how to automate it. I'm still not, since I'm doing this now instead of working on my website.

I just tried creating an account and when I found out that my username is taken, I decided to try to log in and sure enough I have an account here that I set up on Feb 13, 2002.

Now I can pretend to be old school.

So I really didn't like it when the name "blog" started getting popular back then. I guess it's better than Online diary, or journal or something. I loved the idea of the automation, but I couldn't bring myself to actually use a "blog."

I set up an account in bloglines mainly to try an use RSS before I knew that RSS support was built in to firefox. I only made one post there, which was this:

Here is the "blog." The main reason for this nonsense is to give my cellphone a better home page for news feeds, but I have no idea what I'm doing.

This website is so beautiful it makes me cry. It takes a while to download the videos, but they are worth it. This is the best timelapse photography that I have ever seen.

That website still rules. If you have the bandwidth, download the larger videos. It's so beautiful that it deserves the best resolution possible. If I could speak whatever language that person speaks, I would beg for high resolution DVDs of that stuff.

Anyway, this is the end of my second first blog post.
